Default What my teg worth?

Hello im thinking about selling my teg to get an integra type R, but i dont want to go into this blind so your opinions good or bad will be greatly appreciated! i bought this car a few months ago and the past owner said he just did the swap.

98 integra gsr - 160k on body

Motor:
JDM type R B18c5/trans with roughly 80k on it
Some sort of Jdm spec full exhaust. says (jaspa) on the muffler
Header (not sure the brand)
Hasport motor mounts
A/C and Power Steering deleted
Koyorad Aluminum radiator
aem fuel regulator

Exterior:
Type R rep lip
Type R fog lights
Rota grids 16/7.5
Hids
little over a year old paint (orignal color)
Tein coilovers
Excalibur alarm system...
Spoilerless trunk
OEM windows/sun roof visors and mud flaps

Interior 8/10
Type R Front jdm black recaros with matching back seats (9/10)
Type R light weight center console
Type R shift ****
all black interior

Everything works and im sure im missing a few things!
engine oil/trans fluid/front brakes with stainless steel lines all around installed also New front axles. all done about 1000 miles ago
Everything is really really clean!

so im guessing im looking for a rough sale price on what you guys think its worth.

If any additional photos or information that can help please let me know and ill gladly do so! Thanks again for all your input and opinions.

if the engine still has at least 240lbs of compression and burns less than a quart every 2k miles you're in the 6500-7000 range

lower compression and or more oil burning will drop that some

same with any rust, doesn't appear to have any. if you live in a dry no salt state that's a bonus

ask yourself if you really want to bother with a type r. the nice ones aren't easy to find and often have high ask prices. they also won't be any different than what you have other than the bling factor

Thanks for all the replies and kind words!
And yeah I know there's a lot of money in it and she is pretty much a type R already, but there's something about owning a real type R that's makes it just that much better. And plus its a piece of car/Honda history

Your better off selling some of the parts seperately, and going back to OEM as possible. Maybe even find a type r shell to swap your motor into? Be a lot cheaper. Somebody would pay for a clean chasis and all they have to do is drop a motor an tranny.

you really don't. i was in the same boat as the op and considered the same thing

you have a whole ton of extra labor involved. lot of parts tracked to do if you go back to oem. whole bunch of shady honda people to deal with all for what? barely more money IF you get lucky?

there just aren't that many people into these cars anymore and most of them are broke. the ones who aren't often flock to forced induction and or autocross.

he'll get at least 6500 for that car, probably more like 7, just has to find the right buyer. parting it out would not only take longer and be more labor there is a good chance it wouldn't even equal 7 in this current market.

Theres no such thing as a JDM B18C5, B18C5 is the USDM ITR motor. If it's a JDM ITR motor i'd say the entire car is worth between $6,500-8,000, but it won't be easy to find someone with that type of cash. Try b20vtec cars get eaten up on there but prepared to be lowballed.

I don't understand what you're getting at? At first you say there's no such thing then you're saying there is? I start corrected its a b18cR not a jdm b18c5. I could be wrong though.. B18cR has a bit higher compression and other odds and ends.

Is there a way for sure to visible tell the difference between a b18c5 and a b18cR?

There isn't a block named B18CR that I've seen. B18C is a JDM Block. That's one really nice looking Integra. In the bay area, ca I'd say you can ask 8K for it and go from there, but realistically it would go for 6500-7K or so. Some of those parts could be worth parting out. I'd pay 1K for those seats if they are clean and you were local for example.

ITRs right now are a bit lower priced then you'd think. I saw a yellow one with 100+K miles that was pretty clean go for 9500 on ebay this past week.
