Icon6 Help me choose an Accord for project...

New guy here so please excuse my ignorance. My budget is $3,000 and under. I've seen a few on my local craigslist and been thinking of buying a CD during the beginning of next year. For now it will just be my daily driver.

What I want to do with the car in the future:
- Full swap. Don't know which is better choice: H22(Type S?), H23 or an engine/tranny combination of both. Should I get an LSD tranny?
- A turbo that won't require internal engine modifications (rod/pistons/ etc.). I read somewhere that the Type S allows this with a basic bolt-on ~7psi kit, but don't know about the rest. Found some turbo its for $500-600 on eBay.
- Other basic/minor stuff as I go (intake, ignition, cosmetics etc.).

I already received good feedback from the Zero Lift website for getting a full swap, unless you recommend something else.

Ask away!

Either one of the three engines are fine?

Where do you recommend I buy turbo kits for around the same price?

Theres a reason why those kits are so cheap and dont last long (you get what you pay for)

If $2500-$3500 is too much for you to spend on a correct kit, I would hunt craigslist for a used quality kit. Seen a few here in the northwest go between $800-$1500

Well I assumed a less expensive turbo means less work on the engine. Won't those high-end turbos require some internal work? I want to avoid this.

Less expensive turbo means less quality.
