I've an '09 model with leather. Any special tips on care?

 

Lexol, which you can find anywhere.

 

Light soap and water also. Most of all, keep sand and dirt off of it. It will act as sand paper with your butt on it. Once the coating is gone, your seat will be SOL. The "leather" is of the worst quality. Cost cutting FTW.

And Sun. Drop a towel on it here and there when it's parked in the hot sun.

 

There is a product that works great (we sell Lexol also). It's called "Leather Only" and it seems to work fantastic. The company is based in the Houston area. One bottle does the cleaning, preserving and protecting. Our customers rave about it (it is a bit pricey, not lying).

 

The owner's manual says to use "saddle soap", which does work well cleaning. It is probably the cheapest way to go, because one can will probably last you the life of the car.
