Default Ignition help question

I have a honda civic that,

has power
new alt
new starter
new battery

wont turn at all.
when you try to bump ignition nothing happens.
I think it is the ignition switch.
Does anyone know the best way for me to test my hypothesis?
Thanks for the help in advance. I have never worked on a ignition switch before so any help would be much appreciated.

Was the vehicle running before this happened? What made you replace the alternator starter and battery? Does the starter click or anything when you turn the key? Grab a 19mm socket and see if the engine turns over by hand. You have to obviously remove the steering column covers to get at the ignition switch. Does the car have an aftermarket remote start installed in it? Check your fuses as well. Do the lights on your dash come on when turning the ignition on? Is your main ignition fuse still good? If something shorted out with the ignition or possibly hooking up the battery the wrong way by accident will blow that fuse and the vehicle won't start.

As far as I was told the vehicle was running. it was stopped at a gas station and then the engine wouldn't turn over. The alt and battery went out about six months ago. Checked battery and it has a charge.

When turning key on the car gets power. dash lights up radio comes on. when you bump the key nothing happens only a sizzle happens. sounds like its coming from steering column area.

I do need to go through the fuses. I shouldn't skip the easy stuff.

A temp am on your starter, hook up test light and see if it lights up while cranking. If no light check circuit ,fuses, safety switch, clutch switch etc before replacing parts.

If your main relay is getting a signal from the ignition switch, it should be fine.

You can test there which should also tell you if the relay is functioning properly as well.
