Rim Question

I have an 89 SI and its lowered 1.8" i was wondering if 16x7 rims with +40 offset would fit...

Maybe-mabe not. I'm lowered to 5.5" of ground clearance and it is going to be tight with 14x6 +40 and 195-60HR14 rubber.

my car is lowered 1.8" from stock..not 1.8" off the ground...
