Default B18 block for pure performance

Hey guys, I'm gonna start by saying I've never rebuilt a block before only heads and trannys. I rebuilt a gsr head, we're talking skunk2 pro series valves, springs & Titanium Retainers, and stage 2 cams, rebuilt gsr tranny amoung other things. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best specs for a gsr block for performance. I'm willing to reselve the block if I need to.

I rebuilt my 97 gsr and used jdm ITR pistons. I loved the compression bump I got from them and compression stayed very street-able.

I am guessing you are doing a N/A build? because if so brand new stock everything would work great. On the other hand if your thinking about throwing some boost at it you may want to do some better pistons and rods... And hell if you have the money sleeve that thing and boost it to the moon
