Should I get block machined for this?

Default Should I get block machined for this?

Here's the pic, it might be big I uploaded from my phone.

Pretty much what happened was one of my valves messed up and I think the chipped piece fell into the cylinder as the piston was coming up and cause the scratch. Is it a huge deal that I get it honed for this?

a hone might not even fix that. you may have to bore, depending on how deep that is.

yeah that looks pretty bad id definitely get that bored a hone isn't gonna fix that.
