Trying to get this sorted out during Christmas break, because I need my car to make the drive back to college...
I have an oil leak that mainly drips when the car is running. I took it to a mechanic who said it was the rear main seal. I thought that didn't seem right, because I have oil all the way up to the intake manifold and on both sides of engine. I though the main seal was a lot lower??? I put dye in the oil after failing to locate it, and here's what I found:
-The vtec solenoid is leaking oil out the top a little bit.
-When looking at the car from underneath, on the left hand side of the engine block, there is oil even spattered all the way to the top of the engine.
-This one I don't understand. A good majority of the oil leak looks like it's starting from underneath the intake manifold its self. And then it trickles down through everything else, possibly hitting the driveshafts and spattering.
Both the left and right sides of the car have a fair amount of residual oil.

Check your oil sending unit right above your oil filter. If it has not been replaced I would replace that and make sure you put it on tight. Cost about 8 dollars if im not mistaking.
Did you check that the oil filter is properly sealed and that the oil pressure switch...

...is not leaking, both are located on the firewall side of the block along with the VTEC solenoid.
If it is hard to see due to grease and grime, straight simple green allowed to soak on the back of the block and then hit iti with the hose will help removed most stubborn oil and grime.

Thanks. I'll go out and check them now while I have it on ramps.
Here is a link to some pics I took.Pics are taken with UV lighting so the new oil(orange/yellow/greenish) shows.

Edit: the leak on the left block seems to be traveling down the black hose right above the pressure switch.

Did you put sealant in the corners of the valve cover gasket? Another common area on the Accord is the distributor oring leaking. The picture above isn't the correct one for your car. The pressure switch has one male pin in the center which is exposed.
When was the timing belt and seals changed? Reason I ask is because the cam seal could be leaking oil down the block. Look at the pic and the route the oil usually takes before jumping off the back of the block.

you may like the others said put some rtv in the corners of the valve cover gasket near the cam caps, and the disi o-ring always leaks, try an oversized o-ring if u can, its just a lil fatter and seals way better.
