Default 89 prelude 2.0 build

I just started on this forum and i am trying to find my way around. I have an 89 lude 2.0 Si AWS in near mint condition. Its my second Honda and i want to know what i can do to this engine to build some HP. I would love to rebuild and turbo it but from what i have read a v-tech swap is better choice. can anyone tell me more about this engine and why nobody seems to be building them for power?

No body here is building them for power.

The best website for all 3rd gen prelude information is located here
-Here you will find a many boosted ludes
-Answers to 90% of the questions you can have regarding this chassis
-What to expect from all motor builds
-What swaps can and can not be done
-The best minor upgrades
-A whole lot more.
Here's some BA 3rd gens:

No one builds them here due to they not being much a fan boy type of car, if you want to build this car you have a lot of custom work that needs to be done, which scares a lot of people away from messing with them.

A h22 vtec swap is excellent for this car, but it isn't all that cheap, you are looking at spending roughly 4-5k

Our stock blocks can handle low boost applications pretty good, my spare b20a is being rebuilt for 6-7psi setup, with tuning and all it can set you back 2-5k as well depending on how you shop.
