upper control arm..
your from south city? im from south city too lol. what car do you drive? anyway, my crx upper control arms are fucked up and my friend has a smashed up integra thats hes parting out, lol
i have both laying in my garage floor, they are definitely different. for one thing, the upper ball joint is in a little bit different location, reason enough not to use it. how can your's be screwed up? the only thing that goes bad is the bushings and the ball joints.
well if the balljoints are bad, im pretty sure the whole thing has to be replaced. i did mine this summer, trust me, you're gonna flip when u see the price. i think list price was like $217.00 from honda, but i work at an automotive parts store, so luckily i got a discount

will a si upper control arm fit a da conversion on a 91 si?... confusing .. but i just ordered si uca's from honda , and i have a da conversion.... need to know....
Is this the whole control arm and balljoint. http://www.autozone.com/servle...ync=4
If it is then this is alot cheaper than 130.00. Just wandering if this is the same thing that your asking for?

no, actually i just need to know if a EF uppercontrol arm is the same as a DA. My balljoint is bad, so im replacing the whole arm. However I have DA uca'a and knuckles(big Brakes)on my 91 si. IF a ef arm will fit, then ill be in luck cuz i just ordered 2 from honda. If it wont work, gotz to figure sumthin,,,
Wow somoeone woke up a dead thread.
The balljoints in 88+89 CRXs are not replaceable but the 90+91 are.
I bought the SPC adjustable upper ball joints and I tried to install them on my 89 upper arms.
They were welded in. I ground the welds off and what I was left with was worthless.
I went to the junk yard and got some 90-91 arms and they work great.
The ball joint is held in with a circlip. I took out the clip, hit the balljoint with a hammer 2 or 3 times and they popped right out. The SPCs bolt in so the rest was easy. New normal balljoints might need pressed in, I don't know.
I just did this work this afternoon, what are the odds?
As posted above DA arms are different.
