Default Is it dead in here?

I realize it's 2:28am but lately it just seems like this forum is dead. Is it just me? Or is this car scene almost completely gone aside a few long time enthuiasts? Has the DC2 faded out? Or does everyone have their head in there *** playing video games?

Weapons dried up my bank account and the car went on the back burner.

Any car forum I go to now a days is pretty dead. I think the new generation is slowly replacing forums with Facebook groups and **** like that. Just look at the big meets and stuff, they're never advertised on the forums, it's all facebook. The northeast meets section used to always be extremely active with diff meets going on, but now it's like 1 post a month. Yet, there's more meets that are huge than ever.

Yea I don't frequent parking lot meets...I just look for HPDE days I have time for. At this point it's just a track car/weekend warrior/nice weather car to me. Couldn't care less that it's one of the greatest Hondas ever made.

Everyone is on a different forum now.

This one only has random ITR parts questions and the occasional tech post. Plus, most everything was figured out 5-10 years ago and nothing much new seems to be coming out for the cars anymore.

Plenty is still made, but a quick search tells you want works and what does not.

Yup, every last forum that I'm a part of (car or otherwise) is never as active as it once was. There are just better ways to kill time on the internet now.

it's tough b/c this particular forum section is for a car where only about 3000 were imported into the USDM. Think of how many of those owners are actually on this forum and active..then on top of that most of us are older and growing out of love with the car. I think in a few years (read 5-10 years) the popularity of the DC2 will come back when it's more officially a classic. Kind of like when you see a real clean AE86 or FC3S

a lot of itr owners and people in the forum are seasoned and have gone through many topics and i think they dont really have any more questions besides.

how much is my car worth,
pictures of my new part
track day
im bored so i washed my car and heres a pic.

most of the tech questions are in the regular integra forum. i like to think that the "big players" are ITR owners and know most of their stuff already.

i've just been busy. i lurk a lot don't really post much cause i cant stand 80% of the people on the forums and their hella flush threads. i'd say most people are scared to come into the itr section cause they will be stoned if they have mesh wheels and more the -3 camber

even the normal integra forum is down. really started to fall off after 2009-2010, only a few years ago there was a LOT of activity.

I dont know about you guys, but i've lost major interest in my R and H-T. I remember back in 01-02 when I was on here daily but these days, there's just too much responsibilities to be roaming forums. Heck, my R is still sitting in the same spot it has been for the last 4 years. I've stripped and sold almost all the parts off of it through the years and it's sitting batteries for the last 3 years when I sold the MF10's/Rega's I had for her. Most of my money goes to investments, college funds for the kids, mortgage, etc. and there's just nothing left for the R. Kind of sad as I've been telling myself that this will be the year the R comes back to life but it never happens. Also, I've debated many times through the years on selling her but I have always pulled back. Maybe 2013 will be the year she goes.
