this is the set-up.

89 civic Si
90-91 civic EX 10.3" spindles
90-93 teg calipers and brackets
90-96 teg rotors and pads ( said to be correct interchange but may be wrong)

this is the problem
pads dragging the rotors to the point of the brakes smoking after a 2 minute drive up the street.

anyone run this set-up ?
anyone have or hear of this problem before ?
anyone know if these pads / rotors could be incorrect ?
my source says 90-96 INTEGRA is the same......... maybe they aren't

Well the 2nd Gen Teg was 90-93 and 3rd Gen Teg 94-01 so maybe they aren't the same.

 

I know the generation split I'm asking if anyone KNOWS if they are different.

 

Hawk lists different pads for 92-93 and 94-98 for the Integra. The picture of the pad shows they are quite different. That could be your problem.
