I have a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe and the drivers side window rolls down but doesn't roll all the away back up. It just happened today and it started making this really odd noise when I rolled it up the first time, and it was really slow going up>

I'm afraid that if I roll it all the way up it will crack the window and cause even more damage so now I only have it as far up as it will go (about an inch down) I really don't have the $ to take it to Honda to get repaired and I'm a female and not very mechanically inclined. Any suggestions?

 

Probably something in the run channel for your glass. Or the rubber channel is out of its metal holder and binding the glass coming up. I'd tell you to take the door panel apart and investigate but since you stated you don't want to mess with it, take it to your local dealer or a friend how is inclined
