Did I just get the wrong tires????
My girlfriend has a 1994 Accord Ex, with the stock 15" alloy wheels (7 spokes I believe). Last night one of her tires blew out on the side, and since the tires are shot anyway, it's time to replace them.
The tires that are on the car now are 195/60/15, and naturally, I ordered her the 205/60/15 as I would never go back to 195's even on my car. But, I am now having second thoughts about whether they will fit without a problem (195 v. 205).
Can someone please confirm that 205's will work ok so I don't spend the weekend being tortured by this??? If they don't fit, I will still have an opportunity to change the order later today or even Monday, so someone please let me know!
TIA

depends on which tire you bought, different tires are sized differentlyl. i know for sure that the kumho 712's in size 205/55/15 work, so a 205/55/15 will fit but will probably affect your speedo reading.
I got the Potenza RE950's in 205/60/15. Should I call back and change it to 195/60/15?? They don't make them in 205/55/15!

You want 205/55 instead of 205/60.
205/55 = slightly better acceleration, your speedo shows a speed thats a lil higher than what you are really going (i think its negliable) but less sidewall so I assume the ride quality is hurt a little.
205/60 = slightly worse acceleration and your speedo will show a speed lower than what you are doing (think its negliable too), but I'm assumign the more sidewall would mean a slighty more comfortable ride (which is why i want the 60 profiles)
Well, the acceleration and speed are not an issue - the tires are for my girlfriend's car, and she does not do any kind of racing and really needs the car to go from point A to point B. The speedometer being slightly off is also not an issue, so I guess my only concern was fitment and it doesn't sound like it will be a problem. The tires will be installed on Tuesday, so I will post up and let you guys know how it goes.
