4dr integra seat bottom in 96 hatchback? NO
After reading many threads I was convinced that the Integra rear 4dr bottoms and 2dr tops will fit into the hatch. NOT entirely true.
I had bought an entire 4dr Integra set for 150 and the 2dr backs for 40. I swapped the rails on the front completely so I could use the kick forward 2dr rail. worked great nice look.
I used this write up to swap the pans for the 2dr backs https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-install-jdm-itr-rear-seats-backrests-into-96-00-civic-hatchbacks-pics-%2A-2196363/ by SeVeNisOnE
Now from what I had read on all these other threads people had was that the 4dr bottom will fit in with no gaps. I put it in, but the metal braces in the front had to be cut off. I just bent them around until they snapped. also the middle brace is about an inch off. So they don't bolt in AT ALL. also there ARE GAPS in the front corners like in this picture of this coupe (too bad I didn't see this picture before
) It does look decent but it doesn't bolt up and the corners have the metal exposed.

Just wanted to clear that up
Now for some custom seat modification.
So I had them in there for a day and today I I took out the seat bottom and attempted to fit the Integra seat cover on the civics foam. Obviously it didn't work at all I just wanted to see how it fit.
The seat belts in the Integra seat are on the higher up whereas the civic seat has the seat belt tucked in where the foam is lowest.
The back of the Integra seat is fatter than the civics.
The obvious one the Integra seat is rounded in the front and the civics is squared.
The integra 2dr bottom is squared and because I have the extra 2 dr bottom, I have some cloth to work with. So soon I will have a custom civic seat bottom cover made out of Integra cloth.
I know people don't want to attempt this and are probably asking me why I am. I just want to have a clean set of matching seats. I've had different off-matching ones and was excited to do this to finally have a matching set, but was let down a lot by the fitment of the 4 dr bottom seat that everyone says is "perfect" or a "bolt on" when it doesn't even bolt in ANYWHERE.
When I'm done this could be a DIY write up but it's more of just to show because I'm sure most people just live with the corner gaps and no bolts.
Pictures soon.
