I haven't found a topic about this yet. I have a 97 accord with automatic Trans (that has to stay because my wife can't drive stickick) and a F22B2. for a while i was going to do a head swap to the B1 head but...eh.. It's not my daily anymore and hasn't been since the worn out rack fell apart dropping the left side rod out of the rack.so out needs a rack and pinion and other suspension parts. (due to off roading and jumping it like it was my old s10). I replaced the Trans because i split the bell housing off of the Trans and lost all of the fluid from jumping it and had to cut out the core support and tube it.
Well I'm done driving it like that and as i go to replace the rack and other parts i figured why not do the engine too? So here i am asking what parts do i need for this project? Harness, computer, mounts, beer, any kind of drugs. I know lots of cigarettes. How does this whole process go down? I do custom design in steel and welding so I'm not scared i can't get the thing in. Just what i need

H22 is almost plug n play in an Accord. Only thing you would need is ecu and wiring harness which you could make. Mounts should be the same. Good luck

sweet. computer shouldn't be too hard. worst come to worst if i cant find one in the 8 around me (within 2 hours drive) then i could always just buy one from O'reilly or auto zone. The accord is a 97 but i want something pre OBDII im thinking just because there is less **** to deal with.
96/97 automatic Accords have an integrated TCU whereas the 94/95 have a separate computer for it.
If you're doing a 5spd swap and staying OBDII, you'd want a USDM '96 P13 from a Prelude. With it being automatic though, I'm not sure what the ECU codes are, though if you went to OBDI you may be able to rock this:
