well, if you've already decided you're going to send it in, then what does it matter what anyone says? What is it worth to you? What are your plans for the rest of the motor?

If you plan on cams etc in the future I thing maxbore is a great value.

What supporting mods do you have? Larger TB usually assumes higher lift cams as well.

Also, what's the price for the bore? You can pick up a 65mm Edlebrock IM for aroudn $250 and sell your stock one.

I recently put a 70MM throttle body and port matched the intake manifold to it. Whether it's too big or not IDK but it is much better than the stock 62MM. After I did quality bolt ons and such my 62MM would stay in vacuum at WOT, no bueno! Now I'm getting 0.4PSI boost pressure by 2500RPM and it bounces from atmospheric to 0.2PSI through the RPM range. Even untuned I haven't noticed a loss at all in performance. My A/F leaned out more meaning air flow definately improved and I temporarily upped the fuel pressure until I get it to the dyno next week. I think the maxbore is a great setup though, basically retaining everything factory. I did only pay $69 for a brand new 70MM though where as the Maxbore is $99.
