Hi,

I have a 1998 Honda CRV ES.
If I insert key and turn it to the point just before it will start the engine, the radio/cd/tape syetm works fine, however if I turn the engine on, the lights is still on in the radio but no sounds comes out of the speakers.

If I indicate left or right the sound comes and goes, comes and goes... and then it cuts out when indicator goes off again.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this?

 

Sounds like a broken key switch. Do you have a meter so we can test somethings.

Radio will most likely be on either the yellow or white/black lead, make sure both have power when engine is running. 94
