Default how to get maximum fuel efficency

as topic states..I just got a 88 DX and want to get the best fuel millage I can..any tips

keep shifting down in the lower rpms, but don't strain the engine when you do it, and Im not sure if thats the one with 70 hp or 92 hp, but its mad fuel efficient.

run really low octane. more power per unit.

DX=same engine has CRX DX=D15B2=16V=92HP because of DPFI.

Best I have managed was 42MPG with my DX.
