I finished up my alarm install on my 98 Integra. Everything works as it should but I was making sure everything was good to go so I sat In the car, armed the alarm and started the car with my key. The car would still start with the alarm armed. It went off but there's no point if the car still starts with the alarm armed. What did I connect wrong? It's a compustar cm6000. I was looking thru the manual and it said I need a relay? I never had one because I had a dealer install it and pulled it out after my car got totalled.

 

Can you list the kills you installed and what wires you used?

yeah my alarm came with a faulty starter kill, yours might be the same case if it's not from an authorized dealer

 

There's no relay that came with my alarm after I pulled it out of my old car. So I don't think the authorized dealer ever installed one. Can I just wire up any relay to the alarm?
