Default Need some opinions on exterior work on my teggy

So i'm fixing to buy a new project and i know that integras can be tricky to make look right so i'll give a list of things i plan to do and you guys let me know what i should add/remove :D. Pictures of your tegs with maybe a parts list would help

Type R front lip (offset black)
Type R wing (offset Black)
Rear window visor
coilovers or lowering springs (need a cheap reliable brand)
oem mud flaps
HIDs
Amber corners
Need a good brand of wheel to buy i'm still searching but i'm thinking gunmetal grey or black.
Shaved door handles. (the whole side of the car will be flat)
And 15% tint all the way around (no tint on windshield not even a strip)
painting mirrors black to offset.
Greddy tip
steering wheel with quick release
and looking for a black leather interior for it.

How do you guys think it'll look? The car is a silver Dc2 2door coupe. I don't want to spend more than 2g on appearance so i'm trying to find the best deals possible. If you guys know some good websites i could order from lmk!
Thanks for reading!

You can definitely meet the budget, but I've been researching suspension a lot recently, don't go with lowering springs or a cheap reliable brand. Cheap and reliable rarely if ever goes together. If you decide to go cheap, it'll end up costing you on the long run!

Rear valances, Type R side skirts would add a nice touch to the car in my opinion. If you don't mind, you can always go with Type R replica pieces since for the price you pay and save, there's very little difference. Also if you go up or down a driveway and scrape the lip, you won't feel as bad.

If you ever decide on adding more to your budget, Black Type R Recaros would add a nice touch as they're less noticeable compared to the red ones.

That's just my input, everyone has a different taste

Ya i really like the seats but exactly as you said lol when i add more to the budget because they aren't cheap that's for sure lol. and ya depending on what i find i might get some replica pieces as saving money allows me to buy more. Should i just get coilovers or do a full suspension? I enjoy a smooth ride but there's no way ill pay a ton just for that.

Full coil overs get Progress CS-II. Nothing but good reviews for them for about $600-$700 tho. For the price their quality outshines F&F and Tien Basics. Shock and Spring combo I've eliminated options down to Koni and Ground Controls. They're expensive but well worth it. Maybe up to $900. Just my 2 cents from what I've been researching

Personally I think you should build the car to your liking and style. First mistake is asking the public what you should do because that way it's just going to look like every other integra.

The thing I would focus on is spending your money on the right stuff. IE: Legit parts, not knock-off replica stuff. Quality over a cheap replica made China parts. I understand the budget part, but just do what you can.

Also I think rear visors on DC integra's throw the whole rear end off, but again that's just my personal opinion.

It won't take 2k to make the appearance of the car look great.. you would be surprised how simple you can keep it and still look great.

Search around for some images just to get an idea and best of luck.

For suspension lookup Koni/Ground Control. They have great reviews, lifetime warranty on the shocks and they are only $799 shipped for the setup which isnt much more than other options.

I would also choose either the type r spoiler or rear visor. Having both just looks overkill

Ya a lot of people think it's over kill and a lot of people really don't even like the visor tbh lol. And ya i've got a huge list to order and i done some figuring so i can definitely make my budget without replicas. And ya i'll check them out sounds good.

And in my opinion most integras are done so wrong which gives them a bad rep (main reason you don't see many Dc2's) but i aim to keep it as clean as possible. As for now i'm just stuck on wheels but i really think the ones in the picture above look good just not sure what brand/type they are if anyone knows please hook me up lol.

Does anybody know maybe a good estimate on a RHD conversion if i were to take it to a shop since i don't really have the time on my hands to fool with that. I know we don't live near eachother but an estimate is what i'm aiming for. Just curious about how much it could be. Thanks!

I think most tegs end up looking alot alike until new paint hits. I would get Foose on it, and go silver with a black top half.... Or something two tone. I like the type r lip and stuff, but they are pretty common. I think that's were a classy paint job can set it apart from the crowd. I don't think replica parts are bad for cosmetics. Especially when you look at cost. Just make sure the material is same as oem.

I saw a lip on rock auto for $70 not long ago... Didnt look at the other stuff tho.

I would go with smoked marker lights instead of amber ones... Especially if your going silver with black or gunmetal. Smoked tails would be nice too. I know markers can be had from eBay for about $30.

You might consider putting side marker lights in the front fenders, like your pic shows (in post 1). They'd have to be amber though, but you might get away with clear or smoked with amber bulbs... So it ties in with the smoked markers and tails. If not, ... signal mirrors?

Stubby antenna.... I think the s2000 came with one if u want oem.

Vent visors on doors.

Shaved emblems... At least the ugly Acura one on the drivers back. If you keep the centered logo ones, paint them to match the other trim.

And, while not on the outside, a carbon fiber deck lid (behind rear seat) would look nice!

Ya that's a spoon front lip lol. and definitely got to have the amber marker lights but as far as smoked taillights idk i think it ruins it but if you can find an aftermarket set that isn't that stupid clear **** maybe factor smoked wouldn't look to bad but tbh i think the red looks best. The signal mirrors is a great idea actually and ya i forgot to mention the rainguards on the doors. (vent visors). Definitely shaved emblems and ya i'll keep the front but paint it to match the lip/wing.

I honestly just need to find a good set of wheels and tires cause everything else i am already fixing to order. i'm looking to drop it about 3 inches but i like the negative camber look to a slight degree barely noticeable but there. so i need to find a good fitting tire so it is flush with the edge of the fender well and not too wide cause cars with too wide of a tire look STUPID.

Do you know what kind of wheel that is in the picture?

As far as those rims go, they look like Rota attacks or flights.

Those aren't slipstreams for sure, here's a link to Rota's wheel collection. Top row, second one in gold seems to be a very good match to what is shown in the picture.

Personally, I think the stock lights look like crap. The oddball colors rarely tie into the color scheme. But that's my opinion, and wouldn't the world be a boring place if we all though alike?!

Anyway, here a link to a members garage pics that I just happened to stumble upon viewing another thread. This car is all silver, lip and all, with clear markers. I think they look good.... Matches.

honda-tech.com/album.php?albumid=29655&pictureid=78445

My car is stock green with black type r kit, smoked tails, and the emblems that aren't shaved are blacked out. Black interior swap and carbon fiber deck lid. It all ties together nicely. I'm gonna go smoke on the markers when i get around to it.
