So I just bought a 94 Honda Accord. I am planning on going this week to the BMV to get the title/ registration and everything. Anyway, earlier today I was finishing filling out the title and accidentally wrote 108,000 for the mileage. However, the actual mileage for the car is 118,000. On the title I got from the previous owner it says that the mileage is "Exempt". I am aware that if I change the title, it is void so, what should I do? (In Indiana.)

 

Don't worry about it, the car is to old to be taxed on the mileage, so you ate ok

 

Should I even mention that I wrote the wrong one down when I take it to the BMV or...?

 

No, they won't even think twice about it when they see the year, the mileage only accounts on the newer cars for taxing purposes, I wouldnt say anything jus walk in and say you need to register it and go about your day

 

Recently I got a Saturn, and the weren't even written down on the title. The DMV completely ignored it, probably cause of the age. I'd say don't worry about it
