02 Accord front suspension repairs and recommendations
Greetings,
I have about 200,000 miles on my 02 Accord with mostly all original suspension parts. My passenger front strut is leaking, I am suspecting this is the source of my persistent clunk. My local shop says everything else looks fine - and I have replaced the sway bar links and bushings a few weeks ago and the lower ball joint is 3 years old.
Here are my questions:
-Are there any good stut assemblies that come with the springs and everything else? I don't want a crap brand... any thing good out there?
-If I don't go with a strut assembly, any reason not to go with something like the KYBs compared to honda OEM - which are about a 1/3 of the price?
-Any experience buying parts from "OEM online honda parts stores" like BKHondaParts? Are they legit?
-How hard is it to remove the lower shock absorber in the lower arm? It looks like a pressed in fit...
Any insight you guys have would be greatly appreciated. I hope to do the work soon and would be happy to share my results.
Thanks!

I had my struts replaced with KYB's. It's been almost 3 years with no issues. You need a spring compressor to get the strut out. I usually order parts from Manchester Honda, not sure about BKHonda.
