I'm shopping for an exhaust for my ZC CRX. I want to go turbo in the future so I think I want a 2.5" setup. Does that mean that I should also get a header with a 2.5" outlet and a high-flow cat or test pipe that has a 2.5" inlet and outlet? I know that the header will eventually be replaced with a down pipe when I go turbo.

 

cheap upgrade: D16Y8 exhaust manifold.

It's a 4-2-1 design and can be found in junkyards for cheap. Grind off the exhaust shield mounts and wrap it in exhaust wrap. Functional and sweet looking. Cheap, too. This way, when you go turbo, you won't be losing much when you sell your header (if you do). Heck, you could make a profit off of it lol. Just my $0.02

cuz i'm pretty sure it's a 2.5 outlet or so, shouldn't matter too much.
