HELPP NEW TO HONDAS NEED HELP WITH A FEW QUESTIONS :)
ok ive got a 1995 honda prelude s automatic with the 2.2 16 valve motor im looking to buy i 1.6 liter d16 single cam vtec head will it fit on my block if i pull my other head off thxs
h/f series head can be made to work with almost any h/f block..
where as the D series head does not match the block to mount it to(H/F).

so pretty much dont buy it it want work ? how can i make my 2.2 16 v faster ive got cold air intake about it so far im not looking at a race car just a lil street power thxs
Regular maintenance like oil changes could maintain its performance. Depending on how much you drive, things like the fuel filter too. Spark plugs which I usually change around the same time can help with hp if you had power loss if your old ones aren't working at their maximum efficiency as when they were new. Those would be the first things I would take care of first. Another easy thing you can do along with the spark plugs is get performance spark plug wires which can add some power then maybe something like performace headers and a full exhaust system but that's a little more work.
Do your research and see what's best out there. All the little things might not seem much but after it's all added together it may be a noticeable difference.
