Miles, mods,etc?

 

190k, no mods except a couple of cosmetic, aftermarket items which you see in the photos. It does have ITR shocks/springs and rear LCAs, but other than that, stock.

 

It appears to be a virgin and its beautifully mint. When was the last brake maintenance? How old are the shocks? Have the trailing arm bushings been replaced? How are the ball joints, tie rod ends, and inner/outer CVs? What is the tread depth on the tires? What tires are on those wheels? What is the make/model of that head unit? Does the car have an alarm or keyless entry? Has the sunroof been serviced? Is it fully functional? Has the heater core been replaced? What about the blower motor? Is the fuel main relay original as well?

Very interested.

 

It's my daily driver. I drive 75 miles per day, sometimes more. The car is not nearly mint, but it's relatively clean. The shocks and springs came off my ITR, they were original on my ITR and have about 80K miles but are in perfect condition. The car rides well on them. None of the bushings have been touched, so count on getting your knuckles bloody and your fingernails dirty. Sunroof has not been 'serviced' if there is such a thing for a sunroof. It does need a little nudge to get it to go up, then it goes on its own. The head unit is Pioneer something, or other. Kumho tires, nothing special. I slapped some front pads on it a few months ago. To be honest with you I drive it until something breaks, or starts making noises..then I fix it. I run a K&N oil filter with Eneos synthetic oil.. I don't go cheap on engine oil..ever.

I would just count on replacing any and all of the honey-do stuff, it's a very old car and is going to need maintenance.

On that note, I would have no reservation for driving it across the country and back, it's a Honda.

 

BTW, last week I hit my all time record for MPG, I achieved 36mpg. Typically I'm at 33-35mpg.

yes. I don't believe any EG hatch had power windows. If I'm not mistaken, only EX and LX had them.

Original engine?

 

To my knowledge the drive train is all original. It does not appear to have been touched.

 

I'll consider a clean B16A2 head or B18C5 head plus cash.
