Default NRG Quick Release Work With No P/S

Hey guy's, I didn't know if this would be the right forum to put this question in or not but I had a question about an NRG quick release.

I wanted to make sure I could use one on my 1990 Accord even though I don't have power steering. It may sound like a dumb question but I want to make sure it doesn't put too much stress on the QR and break it or something.

I'm sure it would be fine on a Civic without p/s but the Accords are much heavier and you can surely feel it when turning the wheel while stopped/moving slow.

Thanks.
