Honda Accord ABS
I have a 96 Honda Accord EX with the ABS light on. If I start the car when the engine is cold, the light usually will go out, but when I restart it, the light comes back on and stays on. I'm not sure if it's the ABS module or bad wheel speed sensor. I was doing some research, and I found info that suggests that I read the code with a OBDII scanner to find the problem. I have the Actron CP9580A that is suppose to be able to read the ABS for Asian vehicles, but it doesn't indicate any codes. I emailed Tech support for this scanner and he says 'ABS coverage for an Accord does not start until model year 1998 on the cp9580a. The ABS system software in previous years was not compatible with the tool hardware'.
This is really disappointing. How can I read the code for old vehicles?

Put a paper clip in the OBDI plug and read the flashes, match it up to a code sheet. My ABS light is on too, all four lock up. All sensors look good too so I have to read my codes too and see what's up. Haven't done much looking yet but I hope it's an easy fix.
I have honda accord EX 97. ABS pump running exclusively and ABS light turn on after 1-2 min. I replace the O-ring of the ABS accumulator. Now when i press the break pedal the the ABS reservoir overflowing.
