Ok guys and girls, my RPM is bouncing around while driving and loses all power and sometimes backfire. Even i am parked, it still bounce around. What can cause this problem?

 

Most likely your coil or icm.I'd be leaning more towards the coil.

 

meaning the dizzy?

 

Tach output is from the ICM, [in the distributor assembly] a bouncing or no tach is an indication of a bad, [or going bad] ICM...

sorry,that is correct..i actually did mean more towards the icm.it was early when i posted lol..

 

The car won't start now, won't even crank still haven't change to new dizzy yet. Is this another sign of a bad dizzy?

 

What do you mean, "won't even crank"?

Is the starter motor not working?

I would start by checking the batt. voltage, [should be 12.5V] then redo the main grounds, [batt. post and cable clamp, batt. to chassis ground and chassis to engine ground] DO NOT just eyeball them, disconnect/clean/reconnect.

If still no crank...
