Is there any difference in headroom between the coupe and sedan on the 06-11 Si? I've owned an '08 coupe before and wished there was more room up top, since I like to sit up pretty straight.

 

I would like to know the same, since I'm planning in getting a 2DR, but I'm falling in love with the 4DR too...
I'm pretty tall!!

 

My FA5 has at least 3 extra inches of head room over my head, I am 5'9" and I sit straight up in my seat when driving. I would think the coupe has less because it sits lower to the ground and is slightly shorter in the chassis shape as well.

 

How much room you have over your head depends on how you sit. I'd really like to hear from people who have driven both, and set the seat to a similar setting in both cars. I need to know if there's any difference.

I know the front seats between the coupe and sedan are identical, so if there's any difference in room between the seat and ceiling, it'd have to be the car.

I personally prefer the look of the coupe by far, and that's what I had for 3 years. The thing that really annoyed me was that I couldn't sit as straight as I had wanted to. I want to get another Si within the next year, and I'm considering going for a sedan this time, if it has a taller ceiling.

 

I've never driven a coupe, but in my sedan I sit pretty straight and I have plenty of head room and I'm 6'2.

 

It is not your height that matters, it is the length of your torso.

I remember in high school there was this guy who was 6'7", yet one of my teachers showed us them sitting back to back in the same height chairs and they were the same height. The teacher was 5'9.

 

I agree with you on that.

Also, people have different ideas of what is "sitting straight up."

I drive an Integra right now, and just like in my '08 Civic coupe, I have to lean the seat back farther than I'd like in order for my head to not be flat on the ceiling. I'm not even all that tall. I really wish sunroofs were an option on both cars.
