Just rebuilt transmission a month ago, this past saturday was driving on a wet road and slid the front passenger wheel into a curb. Lower control arm was buckled, so I replaced that and put all new controll arm bushings, sway bar bushings, and sway bar end links. Once it was all back together I noticed there was some sounds of slop when the clutch is engaged pulling away from a stop. Jacked the front passenger side up with driver side still on the ground and with the transmission in first gear there is a decent amount of slop as you can see from the video. Can anyone help me identify what could be damaged internally from the previous impact? I have a couple of ideas but nothing I'm confident in, wanted to see if anyone on here could look at it and identify without a doubt.

Jack the car up and grab the passenger axle where it meets the tranny and try shaking it up and down also side to side. Report back.

 

There is no movement of the shaft when I shake it up/down or side/side.

 

Looks like normal differential takeup to me. Any car or truck diff has this amount.

 

Alright, I wasn't sure since I can feel the slight impact when the clutch engages and takes up the slack. And since I picked the car up with an input shaft bearing blown out and 3rd and 5th teeth ground down I didn't have a solid baseline of how it should feel prior to rebuilding. Then hitting the curb was making me think I may have damaged something internally such as shaft bearings or differential bearings.
