hi guys, i am building a f22c for my ae86. here is my list of parts i will be buying later this month.

carrillo f20c rods for improved rod ratio (want to rev to at least 9k safely)
benson sleeves bored to 90mm
custom mahle pistons with 12:1 compression
dished ferrera 1mm oversized valves bronze guides and mild port polish
brian crower dual valve springs with titanium retainers
unecided on cams yet
aem ems

i already own the engine, started it up in the car and found out no.3 cylinder was scored

this is for a street build and road race about once every 2 months on pump gas

let me know of any suggestions or personal experiences on a build of this engine in n/a form

 

anything? anyone build a similar engine? any good known na setup for an f22c?

I was wondering what is a good brand for a throttle body?

 

and why do you need a different throttle body? i suggest you do A LOT more research on the F series motor before you decide what parts you want to throw at it

 

probably a bigger one. I think ours is kinda small.

 

i dont think he realizes that hed have to port match the intake manifold anf then get it tuned for it to run right...most people just throw on a bigger throttle body and not to the supporting mods for it and its pointless
