Can anyone tell me what power im pushing?
hey guys im new to the forums. Been meaning to sign up for awhile now. Anyways i was wondering if anyone has done a build like mine and could tell me what power im pushing, and what i can expect to run with. Heres what i have
1992 Civic hatch
Motor: B18b1 w/ ls trans
Mods:
-Crowler Stage 2 Cams with stock valve train
-Weisco dome pistons
- 4-1 header
- Cat converter been hollowed out
- 2.25" exhaust to stock muffler (wanted to keep it quiet)
-Aem cold air intake
-Msd 10mm wires
- 4 puck xdt clutch
-Solid motor mounts
-Short Shifter
-Chipped Ecu
Any input would be greatly appriciated. From what i can tell the car doesnt really start pulling hard till about 5k rpms and i shift at 6,600 cause i dont like to beat the **** outa my car, plus since its chipped and has no rev i dont really know how far its safe to push with with stock valve train.

i was told it was tuned. It has a pr4 ecu in it. I always though it had to be a p28 in order to tune though. See i got the car and it needed a clutch in it. And when i tore the transmission apart i always tore the motor apart and it had all the parts the guy said it did, cause i was skeptical because alot of ppl will say a motors built and its not. So i put in a 4 puck xdt clutch, threw in some solid mounts, and put on a 4-1 header, and gutted the cat cause we dont have emissions here, and put it all back together. It doesnt smoke or leak any fluids or knock or anything, has mild valve chatter, so i might need to adjust them, but other than that the car runs great.
closest one around is 2 hours away, dont have time or money for a dyno yet, was just wondering what other people got with the same build
so you dont have money to put it on a dyno, but you're running a setup with cams on stock valvetrain, unknown compression, and a "chipped" ecu? hope you have money to rebuild it when it blows up.

Besdies the obvious parts, how do you even know it has everything installed on that list? I am going to assume the PO told you but never told you how much power it was pushing even after he supposedly had it dyno'd.
Advice. Start saving to get it dyno'd.

You need a tune to determine your hp/torque accurately. Stock the engine has a peak hp of around 145 (Wiki), and peak torque of 127 (wiki)..But if you knew one or the other you could use the formula for horsepower which is hp=(torque x rpm)/5252....But since you know niether of them well your just s.o.l.
