Default 98 Accord Overrheating/Rough running

I have a 98 Accord ex 6 cyl with the following issues (some might be unrelated but all are unsolved mysteries at this point)
-car runs extremely rough at start up
-sometimes car wont turn on, requires gas to turn on
-car will run rough for a minute or two, then level out
-lately, car is running rough for the entire drive
-car starting/not starting does not seem associated with temperature outside and can't find any other substantial pattern

-car is overrheating
-keep filling coolant every week (now every day) and it's very low every time
-it's cold outside so I cant tell if the smoke coming out is white or just warmer than the surround air

Things I have done to the car so far: changed spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, cleaned throttle body, oil change, put in new battery, replaced thermostat.
The oil is clean, it does not appear to have coolant in it. The guy who changed my oil mentioned looking for any coolant leaks and not seeing any. I looked with the car on, squeezing upper and lower hoses for added pressure and haven't seen any noticeable leaks. And don't know if this helps but the car had zero effort in maintenence before me. I think the spark plugs were even stock.

I'm just baffled and could use some ideas.

Has timing belt/water pump been changed? Radiator cap? Any trbl codes stored? Is overflow tank good? Cleaned/checked IAC?

Oh! I forgot to mention that:
I got misfire codes on cylinders 2 and 6. No other codes. IAC has not been cleaned, and I do not know if the water pump/timing belt have been changed. Overflow tank is low usually.
