Default What year Ignition cylinder is this?

Im almost sure this is the culprit of what has been going on (shuts off on freeway, as of today will NOT stay on)

I went to get a replacement but the 1990 OEM is smaller, so obviously this isnt the right one for my car. Is there a way to look up a part number or do I need to call Honda?

Only thing it says is "Honda Lock Japan SK7"

I think what you should be going after is the ignition starter switch, not the lock cylinder itself, based on what you said ("shuts off on highway").

100% Correct. After you mentioned that last night I started digging around and the symptoms were almost identical to what I was having.

This morning I went ahead and bought a new ignition switch for $55, swapped out, hooked alarm back up BUT wouldnt start.......not even the lights on the dash came on or anything.

So...I go to check my fuses and the 50A Ignition Fuse was FRIED. Changed it and now its back to normal.
