charactoristics of this size turbo?what kind of power band?
t3/t4,to4e,it has a .70 a/r on the comp side and a .48 t3 exhaust side, what should be expected from a turbo with such large intake and small exhaust side?
bump,
I'm interested in the characteristics of the .48 exhaust housing in perticular. Not what you've read on the internet or magazines, what are peoples experience who actually own them?

My opinion:
Crappy combo.
The compressor is too large for that turbine.
The .48 turbine will choke off the exhaust just as the compressor is
comming online, you basically you'll be past the 'happy' area on the
turbine map before you get to the 'happy' area on the compressor map.
A .63 turbine housing will work better,
but a .82 turbine housing will probably work best, but you
probably won't like the lag...
My experience is using 40 ,46 and 50 trim To4E's with .63 a/r's
A .48 will spool quickly and choke on the topend.
