So I have had this knocking sound in my car for awhile. I have had it since I installed eibach sportlines. I have since upgraded to coilovers in July and the noise is still there which obviously leads me to believe it is not the coilovers. I had thought it might be the coilovers for the longest time till today when I looked again, my LCA bushings we pretty bad. They were torn.

So could the LCA's be the culprit of this knocking noise??

 

check for wheel hub play, determine what is loose. as far as your bushings go. theyre worn out too. replace them.

If you can physically see a bad worn or torn LCA bushing that could definitely be your clunking or noise. Pull it off, press in a new one and find out for sure.
