1987 civic devacing?
i messaged someone on here about devacing these old hondas (this member did it to his honda) but he hasnt been on for awhile so i was wondering if anyone else had any info on this. i liked the guys devaced honda, it was clean looking and opened up lots of room in the engine bay. i cant stand the cluster F%^$ of vacuum hoses on these old hondas. they make it difficult to work on the damn thing. it took me forever yesterday to replace the accelerator pump diaphragm. some of the hoses i couldnt get to so i had to jack the car up and reach up underneath to unhook them so i could get the damn carb off. also if i ever had a vacuum leak(i found one yesterday while fixing the AP) all of those hoses would have to be checked. thankfully i finally found that one while working on the carb. only 4 of the hoses are necessary for engine operation. and the rest are for emission control. he also removed the air cleaner and put a nice filter on the carb(i aslo asked him where he got that) heres the link to it https://honda-tech.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1234651440
its very clean looking compared to the cluster F&^& that comes stock. so if anyone has any info that would be helpful please let me know. mine is a 3barrel carb (cvcc model civic) with the 12 valve head. ( i dont know if his was 3 or 2 barrel but im sure i might not matter)
