Whats my R worth?
I have found something that might repalce my R. I have included some OK pics and a crappy video of it when I first purchased it this year. The car has 60,xxxkm on it and it is now in storage.
Here is the post of when I first got it.
I ended up getting a 2001 Champ white, Canadian model(red interior) with only 57K km. I met the seller of the car back in '08 when we installed a set of KW V2, it had 54K km on it then and I told him "if you ever sell this car I want first dibs". Last week he showed up at the shop and said I have first dibs if I was till interested, I shook his hand right there and a deal was struck.
The only mods are wheels, KW V2 and an AEM CAI. The car has never been in accident other than a 5km rear bumper hit that left a license plate imprint and right side door ding. I had both repaired this last summer. I also have the stock wheels.

Canadian vehicles are in KM, the mileage on my car would be 37300miles.
I bought this from the second owner who only put 7k km on it since 2004. He works for a utilities company that would station him in towns for months on end. He had a work truck and in that time he would only put permits on the R when he wanted to drive it.
We just did the major service on the R, we used OE water pump, timing belts, tensioners and changed all of the fluids.
I also have a brand new Mugen Twinloop, Gymkhana header and Hondata S300 to be installed and tuned if I keep it. They can also be added at an extra cost.
I'm generating funds for an even rarer car. I'am still on the fence about selling it but if the money was right and it went to the right home then I would probably pull the trigger.

Yes it was. Maybe I was out of line.
My question is why would the price-point be the same as other cars with 2x to 3x the mileage and severely molested. Even local to me high mileage cars that are somewhat clean pull $12k. The seats alone in Canadian R go for $3k a set, I have friends who have sold them for this. In the last yr on these forums I haven't seen many cars if any for sale with this low mileage and no history of theft or collision.
Thx for the comments.

Edit* Your seats are very rare and can go for 2k-3k. But I doubt you will find anyone to pay more then 15k
Lol ah its it a shame ppl come here and ask questions then don't like the answers.
I would guess 14k-16k max. I wouldn't install any of those parts as it will devalue the caR. Better off selling them separate.

I have had several people email me with offers quite a bit higher than what you and the other posters recommend since I posted this last night.
I do not mind the answers but justify them? why is it worth this much in your opinion. I'm an old guy and I know what this car is worth. Its not the only time I've played with these cars and the other was a '97 R I had with under 20K km which I sold a year ago.

Going for or sold for? People can ask whatever they want, that doesn't mean they are going to get it. Sooooo you ask Honda-Tech how much your R is worth, I respond with a very reasonable answer and you decide to be a smart ***.

Give people a reason why instead of just throwing out a dollar figure.
I believe $15k is great price.
I didnt mean to come off as a smart ***.
Offers and actually buying is two diff things. If you can get more then what was mentioned then Great! Woah 97 with under 20km?? Why would you sell that?
This caR was been forsale for a year. I know its not as rare as yours but still not worth 18k. Having a few mods and the rear bumper cover not being painted correctly hurt the value. If this was a higher mileage caR these things wouldn't matter but sense its a CND 2001 with low mileage buyers will be very picky.

No worries, but your thread did ask "what's my R worth". I gave you my thoughts. No harm no foul.
I didnt want to embarass myself if I did posted a crazy price in the FS thread so this is why I asked on the forum. Everything I see in the FS thread is pounded to **** and very high mileage so I was basing my price on their asking prices.

I have all the stock parts too. The rear bumper being painted hurts it that much? I had the bumper stripped and repainted since the pic. It is now black where it was sprayed white in the pic, it looks original.
I shipped my 75' F250 from Tucson to Maryland for $900, took about 2hrs of my time. The only thing I think the OP would run into is he is in Canada. Not sure how it is to sell a car in the US from Canada
I believe its worth 17K, I said 15K was a great price but nothing I would move the car for.
