So first, yes I did do my research on topics similar to this one but the difference with mine is that it still works it just won't lock fully. So, I have an aftermarket alarm and I'm aware that there is resistance only when the door is open for safety measure when trying to lock so I closed the door and pressed the unlock button on my remote and it unlocks perfectly fine. I pressed the lock button and the passenger side lock tab locks and turns fully while the driver side is stuck halfway. I opened the door panel up and wasn't fully sure if the metal lines are lined up perfectly and I compared them to the passenger side and I couldn't tell a difference. I move the lock tab by hand and it moves perfectly without resistance. Tried lubeing it up and stil nothing. Started the car with the door close to see if it locks fully and still nothing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! For now I just manually lock it with my key then press the lock button on my remote for the alarm lol.
Not really following what you're saying but here's the deal:
If you try to lock the doors with the driver's door open, the locks will lock and then unlock, ONLY IF if the driver's door is open. If the driver's door is closed the doors will lock normally, even if the passenger door is open.
If you have a problem locking the doors with both doors FULLY closed, you may have a bad door lock actuator.

Sorry let me clear things up a bit, with both doors closed the driver side wouldn't lock completely. The tab would move but not fully lock like if something is stopping it from turning fully.
I had the little spring which provides a little positive force on the lock **** bind up on one of my doors once and I was getting a similar result. I've noticed that the locks on pretty much all Integras seem "temperamental" and never seem to work 100% how you think they should be.
Your door lock actuator is getting weak.
To confirm, put a little pressure on the "tab" with your finger as you hit the lock button, if it locks replace the actuator.

$184 dayum! My passenger side lock sometimes doesn't lock all the way. Seems to be more temperature related than anything else i.e. usually the problem happens when it's cold out. In the summer it usually works just fine.

I can lock the driver side manually..... 184$?! Damn lol. Anyways, last night is when I lubed it up and tried to see what the problem was and couldn't find anything so I left it for the next day. First thing I noticed when starting the car with my driver door open it started to click multiple times like a machine gunwas firing. Saw a thread about it and for in the future if you have this problem simply live up the spring behind the locking tab and follow the metal robs and lube up whatever moves in there lol. But if you put on the door panel again and it still happens this means your door panel isn't on 100% correctly and is aligned a tad but to the left which would make it come in contact with the metal rods some hoe causing it to flicker. Going back to my main problem... So about an hour ago I took off the door panel and pretty much found a bunch of gunk and hair on the spring behind the tab and where the metal robs lead to. I honestly just lubbed it up with a grip of wd-40 and used a metal kabob stick lol yes I used that to basically push out the gunk and then lube it up again. Make sure after lubeing it up a grip to let it drip out on the lower holes if the actual door. I tried it out and it worked perfectly fine and to be honest I do believe the lock actuator as fcm said, is getting weak. If this helped you, thank you for reading and I'm hoping it helped for those in the future. I know its long, my bad and excuse the spelling mistakes lol I'm on my iPhone. Oh and don't forget if its all fixed and it happens again when the door panel is on, while its snapped into place and both screws are in move it slightly to right if driver side and vise versa for the driver side and it should work. Hope this helps!
*recently has been cold and never happened in the summer.

An aftermarket one will not have the switching for central locking, a bone yard is your cheapest bet.
Come to think about it, I think I pulled a set off a 96, I was going to replace the aftermarkets on my 94RS but was pointless as I did not have the Power Door Lock Control Unit to give me the central locking anyway, I may part with them, make me an offer. 94

heh the central locking function was a surprise when I replaced the door handle trim with RS trim (no door lock switches) and found out that locking the driver side lock by hand also locks the passenger side. Pretty HANDY lol.
