Help!!! Yellow Foglight lense broke on my JDM ITR headlight!
Has anyone had this happen to them??? By looking at the foglight it looks like heat got to it and cracked it off or when I was driving the yellow lense broke off due to vibrations
! Right now it sits at the bottom of the housing rolling around, and it's an eye-sore
so I would like to know if anyone with the HID or non-HID JDM ITR headlights has ever openned up the housing so I can possibly glue that lense back together. I asked a couple of shops around and they said that they've never openned up the ITR housing and don't think they have the guts to. A remedy that was suggested to me was to break the rest of it off and let the pieces fall out, but i really like that JDM yellow look so that's not really an option. I am considering just buying another driver's side headlight, but it's costly and takes a couple of weeks to special order the HID housing from Japan! If anyone is selling a driver's side JDM HID ITR housing or knows of a place around the Southern California area that has them in stock, please lemme know! Any other suggestions besides buying a new headlight are welcome as well! Thanks!!!

You can try JDMpro.net they are located in Torrance and are a new shop. I heard they are pretty good, and they have a special for a JDM front. OEM metal NEW w/ used headlights for 3k. They might be able to help u out.
same thing happened to me. i was told either i can unseal the light and take out the broken piece or buy a whole new light. i would buy a whole new light, but that fog lense might break again
Thanks Eddie HatchBlack!!!!
I tried InlineFour but they haven't gotten back to me yet!!! I'll give them a call tomorrow!!!
By the way 9d9GSR, what did you end up doing??? Did you buy a new Headlight or openning up the seal on the housing???

the fog light wont break again if you stick to only 55w bulbs.. that was the problem.
using anything higher than 55w will crack the yellow housing.
other members, as well as myself, learned this the hard way

same thing has happened to 3 people i know. You can brake the yellow piece into super small pieces and rattle it out.

mike M sells these jdm fronts for 3k brand new.
same thing happen to me, but I open it up and and glue it back.
I notice this happen to lot of ppl. This is because the light bulb is touching the lense!!! You have to be really careful when placing the blub in the lense, if it is inserted in an angle, it will be touching the yellow lense, hence, too hot and break.

Thanks for all your help guys! I'm glad to know that I'm no the only one with this problem!
I plan on just buying a new headlight before I attempt even trying to tinker with the housing! Thanks Again!!!
