Hello,
I am TESTINGS WATERS on my '97 Prelude. I am in no rush to sell or trade this car. I am just looking to see what else is out there.
Purchased JDM H23A Blue Top motor from reputable JDM supplier w/ 40k
on long block
Purchased JDM H22 transmission for local shop w/ 23k on it
After purchasing these parts, I began to have a local shop that I
trust install them. But first I have some new parts installed just to
freshen up the motor;
New OEM oil pump
New OEM water pump
New OEM parts for manual tensioner setup
New OEM valve cover gaskets and seals
New OEM Timing belt
New OEM Belts
Kaizenpseed Balance shaft eliminator kit pressed and installed on new
OEM Honda oil pump
New Exedy stage 1 clutch and New OEM flywheel installed
New intake and exhaust gaskets, new misc gaskets and seals all used HONDA OEM
The new motor setup was installed on 4/5/12 I have over 4k in receipts
on all the new parts and work that I had done and installed
professionally. I can honestly say this car will last another 300k
plus miles and another 10 years if you keep up on the maintenance.
The original chassis mileage is high but doesn't effect the cars performance
in any way. The mileage is currently at 241xxx.
The prelude has installed;
Optional lip kit (rare) these are next to impossible to find OEM, a lot are replica's.
JDM Type s fog lights
JDM Prelude window visors
S2000 Black leather front seats AP1
S2000 Black Steering wheel AP1
Pioneer Navigation head unit, touch screen, ipod connection, blue tooth, etc
Tien Super Street coilover 16 way adjustable (before installation they
were completely disassembled and lubed and reassembled)
Drag DR-31 bronze wheels 16x7 wrapped in nitto neo gens w/ 85% tread left
I have the OEM stock wheels that came with the car that will go with the car.
I also have a set of Prelude Type SH wheels that can go with the car
too (painted black)
Skunk2 limited shift ****
black w/ red stitch shift boot
Also have a nice alarm system on the car with a 1 mile radius, but the car is garage kept.
Had all the body work redone on the car professionally. The car went
to a local body and paint shop and was repainted NH-583M.
About 20k ago I had all new brakes installed including; rotors, and
pads. Also has new front end links on both sides. I am sending the car
today for a new oil change and routine maintenance. I will get a new
alignment to insure perfect drive ability. I am sure that I am missing
a few things, but I have ALL the receipts to all the work
Car is located in Maryland. Please PM or E-mail me for more info. E-mail is probably the best bet. I didn't cut any corners when building this car.
Price:$7000 obo
I am open to offers and trades.
