Default Inside H22 from HMO (lots of pics)...

transmission...should it be that dirty!? Dunno.
stock rusted clutch/flywheel. Upon observation not very much wear, just tons of rust.

Fidanza FW and CM stage 3 clutch

Jun Header

I noticed yesterday (when conferring with a friend) that I'm missing some essential parts:

Cable shifter bracket on the tranny housing that holds the cable shift linkage in place.
Transmission studs for the mount on the end of the tranny.
All the clips to hold the cable linkage in place (like on the shifter assembly)

And after seeing all the burnt oil inside the valve cover, I'm just not very impressed..I realize it was a used engine, but I was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones to get a really nice gem. Oh well.

On top of this he said he sent out my receipt the same day as my engine via regular USPS mail, but I still don't have anything...mail will go from coast to coast in 5 days flat. I really want a receipt..I guess most people don't ask for them?

I called him yesterday (thursday) and told him what parts I was missing, he said they'd go out the same day. We'll see next week.

I've had my B-series motor from HMO for about two weeks now. Called the day after I got the motor about the receipt-Steve said it went out the same time as the motor-and it still hasn't shown.

i got my b16a from HMO, never got a reciept, steve told me that the shipping invoice was the reciept, but i highly doubt it was. anyways, when i got the engine, my left mount was busted. to make a long story short, it took 11 phone calls to steve over a waiting period of 3-4 weeks before that 1 mount got to my door. but overall my engine was clean and it did come with new shift linkages and everything else!! so HMO is okay for their price, but nothing is perfect in this world

No, I bought the Jun header seperately, and I've got a huge b-section to go with it ...the h22 came with stock everything.

I'm kinda pissed overall...Looks like I got a pretty high mileage POS engine

I wanted to be one of those people with a clean shiney engine

Isn't HMO located is South Cali? That's what their website says... Also, if they do I am planning on going down there when I purchase my engine and pick it up personally so I know I have everything I need.

I already posted this up for another Hondamotorsonline post but i'm gonna do it again for any of you that didn't hear about it. Rukkus233 (TC) you are right Hondamotorsonline sucks ***, that's why we got rid of that ****. The whole driver side mounting holes in the block were stripped out. They grinded down the edges on the bolts and shot them in with an impact gun. I guess they didn't think that i was gonna change the timing belt and water pump, to see the bent bolts and aluminum filings all over the place. My other friend JDM88CRX (Mike) got his 1st gen B16 from them, it ran fine until the one of the thrust washers fell out and cracked the pistons destroying the bottom end..... I still say **** Hondamotorsonline.
