its been a while since ive been on here or done anything to the car. ive been in a financial rut but i recently acquired a new(and better) job. once i catch up on bills and stuff, i will return to the project. however, i was able to do a few things though...

i sold my factory corner lights and got the jdm style ones.

then i got HIDs. i dont like them its too blue. they are 35w 8k
im gonna get 5k later on.

and just recently a new exhaust system the old one was falling apart so i had to get a new one.

Bringing this project back from the dead. There has been some recent devolpments

First off, i scored a set of 14' steelies from a friend mine

Then i got a lip off a 89 Camry from a local junkyard

here it is installed. i also installed gold pin stipe on the trim all around the car

its not centered right but ill fix that later

Next was the floor mat i got tired it sliding up so i took matters in to my own hands. I got this idea from one the of integra forums
its pretty simple and self explanatory

no more sliding =]

Now some fog lights are in order!!
Harbor Freight specials with JDM yellow vinyl tint(ORACLE 8300)

Before

During(mounting them)

After

Then i plasti dipped my front bumper and got new seat covers

^thats my dad filling my tank btw lol

so after that nothing happened for a while a friend decided to do a quick photo shoot

my hatch and my buddies rex

so nothing happened again til the week of Honda Day
i went to the junkyard and scooped a DC Teg console with an armrest and a OEM clock

then a got of DA seats from a friend

Installed

They are lil crooked but ill fix that later

the driver side had small tear in it so i fixed the best i could

then on the day before i went to Honda Day i plasti dipped my rear bumper

^my buddy applying the first a couple of coats

nearly done

finished

completely done and i also put the rear mud guards back on too.

on that same day the short shifter was put in as well

took her for a wash that same night

fresh and clean

Short Shifter+Crown Royal=winning

Short Shifter+Crown Royal+Type R Shift ****=MOAR WINNING!! LOL

and thats pretty much it for now
i ordered front UCA replacements
ill get on that this weekend

Looks like a good start. What brand exhaust did you go with?

Fog lights turned out pretty good. Take some black plastidip to the rest of the trim though! The rust looks....like rust (rear passenger side). Probably want to fix that.

Also, love the steelies. I think they are kind of hilarious. I'd run steelies if they cleared Good luck, maybe you will post more this year! LoL

I like the way those fog lights turned out. I might have to attempt that myself. How many bolt holes, of the 4, line up on those DA seats? I wouldn't mind trying that too as it is super hard to locate clean SI seats without paying a fortune.

thank you. i bought black trim paint and a pry tool to take out the trim but im afraid of braking clips so i might plasti dip them instead idk we'll see what happens.
im gonna take care of the rust after i put in my front UCAs
im gonna have the steelies rebalanced with the weights on the inside then plasti dip them white with gold pin stripe on lip. the wheels are the only thing that bother me(other than the rust) about the car.
you will def see more pics and posts.

thanks. its fairly simple to do. just use a heat gun to shrink wrap the vinyl tint around the lens. just look for ORACLE 8300 on ebay.
only 3 out of 4 line up. the inner front bolts didnt line up when installed mine. originally i thought they were DC seats until someone pointed out that they are actually DA seats but its ok i like them anyways and yes Si seats are very hard to find especially in decent condition

oh and as far as the fogs dont bother HIDS in them cuz the housing is plastic

What is your opinion of the exhaust? Does it have a nice round sound? And do you feel any improvements?

it sounds ok and its loud. i just dont like the cackle sound it makes(when you get on it) or the tin can like sound(again when you step on it)it sound great at low RPMs and they def sound better daul cams. but perhaps it would sound better if i have an actual cat and not a test pipe

well as far as "improvements" it breathes a lil better but no real HP gains maybe 5HP at best.

as i mentioned before i plan on changing it a lil. heres my game plan, replace test pipe with an actual cat converter cut off the existing muffler and put one these on

Those mufflers are not going to help the noise much. If you want something a little smoother look into the vibrant or magnaflow brands. Something oval and possibly baffled.

Replacing the test pipe with either a high flow cat or resonator will help the most though.

Why didn't you swap seat pans with da seats so all 4 rails line up?

You actually only need to swap one of the rails from the civics to make 90-93 Teg seats bolt into 90/91 civics. 88/89 Civic should use 86-89 integra seats. Swapping seat pans would make the headrest incompatible since its the wider style.. 94-01 teg seats require the seat pan swap.
