Default Metal Grinding sound right front passenger wheel

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and just trying to get an idea on what could be the problem. i have a 2002 Honda Accord SE.
I should say that my brakes and pads are new, 6-7 months ago replaced.
I drove over a dip in the rode yesterday, slowly, and immediately after the right front passenger wheel started making a metal scraping sound. It stops when i brake and when i turn. In reverse it is faint..or no sound at all.

I've heard so many opinions and cant really afford to hit up the mechanic randomly, i dont want to be taken advantage of.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
