Ok did a ls swap in a dpfi 88 shell converted to mpfi hooked everything up and it will not run it fires then shuts down with a pm6 obd0 ecu however if I put a pm5 ecu in it it runs but not well please help also getting a code 8 I know the dizzy is good
...another thing is with the pm6 the injectors shoot one burst of gas

 

Also ecu is obd0 and I repinned the dizzy connector to obd1

 

I would double check the repin job you did on the dizzy for starters, your problem will lay somewhere in the wiring

 

I bet if you used a obd0 PR4 ecu it would probably run just fine. Both ecu's youre using are having a hard time figuring out the b18 distributor signals. the pickup gears inside the b18 distributor differ from that of a sohc mpfi and dpfi. try and borrow a PR4 ecu and see if it cure your problem. also better to use an obd0 distributor with obd0 ecu. I have a D16Y7 ef and smokes a lot. I think the sensor detects no map that I connect and disconnect and nothing happens

 

also the distributor is conected wire to wire
where should I start?
