Default ECU not sending injector signals

Background: b16 crx sat for 4 years, everything worked great before storage. Tried to start, but ecu wasn't sending signal to injectors. Replaced my PWO ecu with a spare PR3 ecu. It fired right up after ecu replacement.

I have put about 1k miles in it, but today it died and now the PR3 ecu isn't sending injector signals. Is this just coincidence or is something else causing the injectors not to work?

Check to make sure your ECU is getting power from the main relay.

Are you talking about A2 and A4? I thought they were ground circuits?

****Update**** I just tried to start her and she fired right up. Obviously I have an electrical problem. Could this be a warning sign my main relay is going out? If not, then what are the possible causes for the ecu to send intermittent signals to the injectors?

They look fine, but I am going to clean them all up and hope that takes care of the problem. Which ground is responsible for the injector signal and injectors?

I cleaned off all the grounds I could find, but I am still having this problem. Maybe I missed the injector signal ground, where is it?

This problem is extremely annoying any help would be appreciated. I have already had to call a tow truck twice because I thought I fixed it and I leave my house. A couple of miles from house the car cuts off and won't start again, but as soon as the tow truck drops me off she fires right back up.

Injector ground is inside the ECU.... You could have a loose pin on the harness to ECU coupler. Honestly that is what it sounds like to me. We have this problem quite a bit at work.

So your saying that I have 2 defective ecus or are you saying the plug that plugs into the ecu has a bad pin. I am not quite sure what you mean by harness to ECU coupler?

I am saying the plug that goes into the ECU most likely has a loose or worn out pin. NOT the ECU itself.

Would this would most likely be a loose or worn out A2/A4 pin?

update, I started playing with the connectors and it started up, but it only made to the end of my street. I played with each wire and couldn't figure out which one was causing the problem. I am stumped

What do you do at work to fix this problem?

We junk the harness and get another one from a supplier.... But you can put in a new pin. They sell them online. Sounds like thats the problem, you just have to find which wire. I would start with whatever one sends injector pulse or injector ground. If that is A2/A4, then ya, but I work on new Honda's all day not old ones, so I dont know what pins they are sorry.

Just to update this thread. I did replace the pin, and that fixed the wiring problem, but I was still having problems with the injectors firing. The only thing left that controlled the injectors that I hadnt check was the crankshaft sensor inside the distributor, so I bought a brand new td22u distributor and havent had a problem since
