Default wiring iabs

so i did a previous thread on what i observed w/how the iabs worked. well today i ghetto rigged what looks to an egr solenoid off a 92 accord. i wired its yel/black cable to another yellow black cable i had near my shock tower and the other cable to pin A17 on the ecu. well the thing works it opens up at start up and allows vacuum, but at 4900 rpm it does not cut-off vacuum as its supposed to. i heard there is an extra cable involved, could this be whats stopping from functioning correctly?

If it's part of the same thread as your old one (which it is), please keep this all together in the same thread. If you're going to do your own work on your car, I highly recommend getting the Helm's manual for it (www.helminc.com); it has all the wiring diagrams you need.

The egr solenoid should only be working from 1500 to 3000 and at light and steady throttle. You probably have your vacuum lines incorrect.
