obd2 to obd1

Default obd2 to obd1

ok i have a 99 civic with a d16y7, and have a 91 teggy with a b18b ls and wanting to swap the LS in my civic, so my question is, how do i know if my civic is an obd2a or obd2b?

Before 1996 = obd1

96-98 = OBD2A
99-00 = OBD2B

thank you sir, so if i was to get a jumper harness for the obd1 swap it would be an obd2b to obd1?

if you have an obd1 ecu or chipped ecu then yes

example:

OBD 1 engine ->obd2 engine harness -> obd2=obd1 adaptor -> p28 ecu
OBD 2 engine ->obd2 engine harness -> obd2=obd1 adaptor -> p28 ecu

ok nix so what you are saying is i need an obd1 adaptor and p28 ecu, or could i just get lets say a b16 or gsr harness bc i plan on swapping the head for V-TEC

depends though. your integra is obd0, so you gotta figure out if the motor and associated items are converted over or not.
