first 97 crx auto awd
i just picked up my first crv an hour ago as a dd for my girlfriend. i've had it in mind that when i picked up my crv, the first thing i would do is headers, intake, exhaust, test pipe. just basic bolt ons for now cause i've accumulated so much extra stuff over the years. possibly throw on my spare gsr head w/ blox b's and piece together a turbo kit just for ***** and giggles. what i didn't think about is that it's automatic and going through the threads on here i've realized that my plan tuning on chrome isn't going to work out because you can't tune automatic ecus with chrome. on all my cars i've had i've ran either hondata or chrome, never had enough money to mess with aem. is aem ems really the only way to get tuned? i possibly might just take it back to '99 and use a safc w/ the bolt ons. i'm thinking now that my vtec/turbo set up is a bust.
ALSOx2, i was thinking about buying recaros for it, just for the hell of it and i just sat in the car to drive it home and i was thinking that the seats are really really high, would probably a stupid question, but would the crv rails bolt up?
Turbo automatic is tricky, search and the information will be available to you.
EG suspension fits in the front, not the back. Coils are also not stiff enough for the weight. Search, and the information will be available to you.
IDK About recaro's, but honda seats do bolt up to the CRV rails. It feels 1000x better and a lot lower. Using EG rails makes it sit way too low, dont even bother. Search and the information will be available to you.

i had s2000 seats in my crv. also had jdm dc2 tein coilovers installed with a 3" riser bracket on the rear lower control arm. you can use an AEM FIC to tune. its just a piggyback so you will retain the stock ecu and tcu but you can adjust a/f, timing, boost, vtec etc.
they run about 300 bux which isnt that bad.
